Behind the Veil

Talia Morrowe has always been drawn to the things that live in the corners of our vision. Born in a small town that isn't on most maps, she grew up listening to the wind in the pines and the stories of the old folks who remembered when the woods were deeper and the nights were darker.

Her writing is an exploration of the liminal spaces—the thresholds between the known and the unknown, the scientific and the magical. She believes that every landscape has a memory, and if you listen closely enough, the land will tell you its secrets.

Before becoming a full-time author, Talia worked as an archivist, a florist, and briefly, a night-shift librarian, where she confirmed that books do, in fact, whisper to each other when they think no one is listening.

She currently lives in a house with too many windows and a garden that refuses to be tamed. When she isn't writing, she is likely brewing tea, pressing flowers, or trying to convince her cat that the cursor on her screen is not prey.
